Nonprofit Organizations :
The Philoptima solutions process has two phases. In Phase 1, grantmakers and funders describe a problem, post a design prize and accept a solution from among those submitted by members of the Philo Faculty. In Phase 2, nonprofit organizations like yours compete for an implementation prize based on the winning solution selected by the prize maker in Phase 1.
The first step for a nonprofit wishing to respond to a posted implementation prize is to complete a Nonprofit Participation Agreement.
After completing the Nonprofit Participation Agreement, join the implementation team by submitting the qualifications and contact information for your nonprofit.
After you approve the Nonprofit Participation Agreement and join the implementation team, you may open a password protected work folder and see an abstract of each of the various open implementation prizes.
Suggest Problem Statements for Prize Makers to Consider If you do not see an open implementation prize that fits your nonprofit\'s skillset, you may submit an Unfunded Design Prize for prize makers to consider funding.
Nonprofits can submit an implementation plan in response to an open implementation prize.
The prize maker sets the deadline for the submission of implementation proposals. Nonprofits can respond by submitting a proposed implementation plan on or before the deadline. As a general rule, more complex problems and solutions require more time to develop the best implementation plans.
Finished! Now wait to hear from the prize maker or Philoptima staff.
