Philoptima™ provides the most innovative way for donors and grant makers to find solutions to community challenges. Prize Makers describes the problem, and fund a prize setting it's deadline. Only the prize maker, can select a winning solution and authorize award payment. If they don't choose any of the proposed solutions, they get 100% prize money refund.

You can bypass the Open Prize process but still locate top research talent from the Philoptima Faculty, by using Find a Consultant service. Start by filling up your details, agree to contractual terms and then post Project Free. Once verified, you will receive list of consultants willing to collaborate, We work primarily in education, health, public safety, governmental oversight, and the environment.

Researchers, consultants, experts, and smart creative people who provide solutions to tough community challenges can register and complete the Philoptima Participation Agreement. Only approved faculty members can attempt Open Prizes and propose solutions within the posted deadline. Research positions are limited by discipline, qualifications, and responsiveness.
